Mind the Frontline Honors Fallen Heroes with Memorial Run

Mind the Frontline Honors Fallen Heroes with Memorial Run

HONORING THE FALLEN: AE 122 & AE 158 MEMORIAL WALK / RUN

Alexandria, VA, 04 March 2024 - Mind the Frontline, a 501(c)(3) registered charity committed to supporting the mental health and overall well-being of healthcare, military, and public service frontline first responders, announces the upcoming AE 122 & AE 158 Memorial Run. This event will honor the courageous crew-members of Air Evac 122 and Air Evac Lifeteam 158 who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to others. Pilot Russell Haslam, Flight Nurse Adam Tebben, and Flight Medic Steven Fitzgerald of N295AE will forever be remembered for their selfless dedication.

The memorial run, scheduled for April 20th, 2024, at 1100 hours at AE 122’s Hangar in Weatherford, OK, invites participants to join in person or virtually. This event transcends a mere run; it symbolizes unity and support for the families left behind after the tragic loss of their loved ones. Families often face immense financial burdens following a line of duty death, especially when children are involved. By participating and fundraising, individuals can help alleviate some of these challenges and ensure that the families of fallen heroes receive the support they deserve.

Event Details:

  • Date: April 20th, 2024
  • Time: 11:00 AM
  • Location: AE 122’s Hangar, 3705 E. Main St., Weatherford, OK 73096
  • Participation Choices: In person or virtually
  • Cost: $25 per participant
  • Sponsorship: Available
  • Post-Run: Complimentary lunch and family-friendly entertainment

The event schedule includes moments of reflection, a helicopter flyover tribute, the memorial run, and family-friendly activities, including a petting zoo and exploring fire trucks and helicopters. Additionally, Mind the Frontline will host a conversation on healing and growth after experiencing a tragic event and the loss of a colleague in the line of duty.

Mind the Frontline invites individuals and communities to join in honoring the fallen heroes and supporting their families. Every step taken brings us closer to healing and honoring their legacy.
