To continue our mission effectively, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Volunteer Certified Professional Accountant (CPA).
As a CPA volunteer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity, transparency, and sustainability of our organization's operations.
Responsibilities

Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and budgets to provide the board of directors and management with a clear financial overview of the organization.

Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements, including the preparation and filing of annual tax returns.

Financial Planning: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and monitor the organization's financial plans, including revenue forecasts and expenditure budgets.

Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, assess the organization's financial health, and make recommendations for improving financial performance.

Internal Controls: Establish and maintain effective internal controls and financial policies to safeguard the organization's assets and prevent fraud.

Audit Coordination: Liaise with external auditors to facilitate the annual financial audit process and ensure all necessary documentation is provided.

Grant Compliance: Monitor and report on compliance with grant funding requirements, including financial reporting and documentation.

Financial Leadership: Provide financial guidance to the organization's leadership team, helping them make informed decisions based on financial data.
Requirements:

CPA Certification: A valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.

Accounting Experience: Substantial experience in accounting and financial management, including familiarity with non-profit accounting principles and regulations.
