Certified Professional Accountant (CPA)

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and budgets to provide the board of directors and management with a clear financial overview of the organization.

• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements, including the preparation and filing of annual tax returns.

• Financial Planning: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and monitor the organization's financial plans, including revenue forecasts and expenditure budgets.

• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, assess the organization's financial health, and make recommendations for improving financial performance.

• Internal Controls: Establish and maintain effective internal controls and financial policies to safeguard the organization's assets and prevent fraud.

• Audit Coordination: Liaise with external auditors to facilitate the annual financial audit process and ensure all necessary documentation is provided.

• Grant Compliance: Monitor and report on compliance with grant funding requirements, including financial reporting and documentation.

• Financial Leadership: Provide financial guidance to the organization's leadership team, helping them make informed decisions based on financial data.

Requirements:

1. CPA Certification: A valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.

3. Accounting Experience: Substantial experience in accounting and financial management, including familiarity with non-profit accounting principles and regulations.

4. Financial Analysis Skills: Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

5. Tax Expertise: Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements, particularly for non-profit organizations.

6. Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.

8. Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, board members, and external auditors.
