Overview

At Mind the Frontline, we are committed to supporting the mental health and wellness of our first responders, who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving our communities. We believe that visual communication is a powerful tool in spreading awareness and driving positive change. As a Volunteer Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in helping us create impactful and compelling visual content to reach a wider audience, inspire action, and promote mental well-being among first responders.


 

Responsibilities

  • Design Compelling Visual Content: Create eye-catching graphics, illustrations, infographics, and other visual assets that effectively convey our mission, message, and programs to various audiences.

  • Support Marketing Campaigns: Collaborate with our marketing team to design materials for awareness campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and events. This includes social media graphics, posters, flyers, and digital assets.

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all design materials align with our organization's branding guidelines and maintain a consistent and professional visual identity.

  • Digital and Print Design: Be versatile in designing for both digital platforms and print materials, such as brochures, newsletters, and event banners.

  • Adaptability: Be open to feedback and revisions to improve the visual impact and effectiveness of your designs.

  • Timely Delivery: Meet project deadlines and communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress.


Requirements

  • Passion for Our Mission: A genuine interest in and commitment to supporting the mental health and wellness of first responders.

  • Graphic Design Skills: Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, or similar tools.

  • Creativity: Strong creative and conceptual thinking, with the ability to translate ideas into visually appealing designs.

  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, error-free designs.

  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to various project requirements.

  • Communication: Effective communication skills to understand project briefs and convey design ideas.

  • Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your graphic design work, including examples of both digital and print materials.

  • Availability: Commit to a flexible volunteering schedule to meet project deadlines and team meetings.
