Overview

As a State Ambassador for Mind the Frontline, you will play a pivotal role in promoting mental wellness and providing support within your designated area. You will be responsible for organizing events, establishing connections with local resources, and representing MTF in various ways.



Responsibilities

  • Community Engagement

    • Act as the primary representative of Mind the Frontline within your designated state.

    • Foster positive relationships with local community members, organizations, and mental health professionals.

  • Event Coordination

    • Plan, organize, and execute mental wellness events and activities within your area.

    • Collaborate with the Mind the Frontline team to develop event ideas and content.

    • Ensure events align with the company's mission and values.

  • Resource Networking

    • Identify and establish partnerships with local mental health organizations, therapists, counselors, and other relevant resources.

    • Maintain an up-to-date directory of local mental health support services.

  • Public Awareness

    • Raise local awareness about the importance of mental health through various channels, including social media, community presentations, and local media outlets. (Share ideas with SM Coordinator)

    • Share Mind the Frontline's resources and services with the community.

  • Support and Guidance

    • Offer guidance, resources, and referrals to those in need, ensuring their access to appropriate help.

  • Data Reporting

    • Collect data on the effectiveness of events and outreach efforts.

    • Provide regular reports to the Mind the Frontline team regarding community engagement and impact.

Requirements

  • Passion for promoting mental wellness and reducing the stigma surrounding mental health.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Organizational and event planning abilities.

  • Familiarity with local mental health resources and services.

  • Empathy and the ability to provide support to individuals in distress.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.

  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
