Dan Cohen

Dan Cohen, a seasoned professional with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and LP certification, has been an integral part of Williamson County EMS for nearly two decades. With extensive experience working on an ambulance for over nine years, Dan currently holds the position of Clinical Practices Captain. In addition to his role in emergency medical services, he also dedicates his time to creating Continuing Education (CE) programs tailored specifically for first responders. However, Dan's passion extends beyond his professional duties. He has discovered a unique talent for combining his love for photography and his expertise in Paramedicine to effectively narrate the story of WCEMS in Central Texas. Recognizing the importance of mental health support, Dan is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. His ultimate goal is to provide crucial services to first responders and healthcare professionals, aiding them in their journey towards improved well-being and resilience.
